The “First Abacus” represents the foundations of knowledge and the importance of understanding where knowledge originates. I chose this object because I believe foundational knowledge shapes the way we learn and understand more complex ideas later in life, and I think it’s very important to know where knowledge comes from to understand it.
The U-/Bar magnet is easy to use and prove. Magnets are present in everyday life, from household objects to advanced technology. Personally, magnets remind me of places people have visited, especially through souvenir magnets, which preserve memories and experiences. Because of this, I associate magnets as something that leaves a permanent mark.
The Chinese-Serbian dictionary is an important bridge to connect cultures and show understanding between communities.. I chose this object because language allows people from different backgrounds to communicate and share perspectives. For me, the dictionary is especially meaningful because it helps me communicate with ambassadors in Montenegro and better understand another culture.
