This is a painting called “Nighthawks” by Edward Hopper. I came across it by chance, on the Internet, but it made such an impression on me that I will remember it forever.
This is a book called The Giver by Lois Lowry. It’s about a boy named Jonas who lives in a dystopian world. I first read it in ninth grade and it left a lasting impression on me. It makes you think about the importance of memories, your past, and all your experiences.
This is the most simple form of an exponential function from our SL math textbook. I am very relaxed about math in general, mostly because I am not very good at it. However, this formula stuck in my mind, as it served as a kind of anchor for me in a topic that I initially did not understand at all.
